Ready for Some Festive Magic in Harrogate?

Harrogate Theatres bring the seasonal sparkle to the town this December, with a packed programme of big names and top class live entertainment with something for all ages!

Harrogate Theatre’s home-grown Christmas Pantomime, Aladdin, opens it’s doors on Tuesday 1st December and runs until 17th January. The highly acclaimed production has become an annual custom for many, and this year it promises everything the audience has come to expect from this truly magical festive experience.

Recognised internationally as the world's leading Fleetwood Mac tribute show, Rumours of Fleetwood Mac play at the Royal Hall on Tuesday 8th December. This stunning new show takes you on an epic musical journey through changing eras and styles, from the exciting sound of the sixties London blues scene right through to the staggering commercial success of the seventies and eighties, and beyond.

To celebrate the most wonderful time of the year and for the very first time in the UK, catch The Andy Williams Christmas Spectacular starring The Osmonds at Harrogate International Centre on Friday 11th December. With special guest Jimmy Cricket and The Moon River Singers this is a dazzling, must-see holiday extravaganza.

For comedy lovers, the Hyena Comedy Club Christmas Cracker takes place at Harrogate Theatre on Saturday 12th December, and funnyman Josh Widdecombe comes to the Royal Hall on Monday 14th December with his show, What Do I Do Now.

As well as Aladdin, we have another very special opportunity for families – Paddington Bear & The Snowman. The Orchestra of Opera North brings the enchanting tale of The Snowman to life with a very special screening of the classic animated film at the Royal Hall on Tuesday 15th December. Paired with Paddington Bear’s First Concert told by a special guest narrator, this show is a wonderful way to kick-start the magic of Christmas for the little people in our lives.

On Thursday 17th December The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain brings ’30 Plucking Years’ to the Royal Hall to celebrate 30 year’s of being “pure entertainment” and “a much loved national institution”.

As we edge closer to Christmas, the nation’s favourite choirmaster Gareth Malone takes to the stage at Harrogate International Centre on Friday 18th December, joined by his choir ‘Voices’ for an evening of spine-tingling song.
