Easter Holiday Treats for Kids at Harrogate Theatre

(Don’t worry… We’ve got treats for grown-ups too)

We’ve got three productions especially for children and families not to be missed this Easter holidays!

  • On Wed 6th April Northern Ballet presents The Tortoise & The Hare. Bringing this much-loved Aesop’s fable to life, Tortoise & the Hare is the perfect opportunity for your little ones to enjoy live ballet, music and theatre. These performances are created with children in mind and last approx. 40 minutes.
  • E. Nesbit’s well-loved tale The Railway Children is brought to life in a new adaptation by Woolford and John on 7th April. A beautiful blend of storytelling, drama, comedy and musical theatre, this really is the perfect way to make literature come alive for all the family!
  • Finally Northern Magic Circle presents Magic & Mayhem: Children’s Showtime on Sat 9 Apr – A fantastic afternoon of magic, entertainment and family fun, with all tickets just £5.

And when the grown-ups need a break….

  • FOR MUSIC FANS - Roger Davies in Concert is at Harrogate Studio Theatre on 26 Mar, and the fabulous Hollies play at The Royal Hall on 2 April.
  • FOR COMEDY LOVERS – The monthly Hyena Lounge Comedy Club is at Harrogate Theatre on 26 March, Mark Steel brings his newest stand-up show ‘Who Do I Think I Am?’ on 1 April, and the brilliant Alun Cochrane is in the Studio on 6 April, but this one is already sold out (Sorry!).
  • FOR SPORTS FANATICS – Cricket legends Blofeld & Baxter bring ‘Rogues on the Road’ to Harrogate Theatre on 2 Apr; a show crammed full of wonderful (and occasionally outrageous) reminiscences and anecdotes from two extensive careers spent broadcasting around the globe.
