Boasting impressive acoustics and a sense of occasion that’s hard to beat, the Royal Hall is the perfect venue for an extra special night out and the December line-up promises to play out 2017 with a bang. First up are two classic ballets, family favourite The Nutcracker (Wed 6 Dec) and tragic romance Romeo & Juliet (Thu 7 Dec) each featuring an impressive cast and live orchestra of over 30 musicians.

If your taste is more classic rock than classical, The Bootleg Beatles (Fri 8 Dec) return with a brand new tour of their “flawless” (Mojo) tribute performance, meticulously recreating the greatest songbook of all time. Providing essential Christmas listening since the sixties, founding member of The Move, The Electric Light Orchestra and of course, Wizzard, Roy Wood (Tue 12 Dec) promises a rocking night out. Air guitars are mandatory for The Bon Jovi Experience (Tue 19 Dec) providing a roaring, 2 hour set of all the hits and described by the man himself as “the best tribute I have seen”.

The Magic of Motown (Fri 15 Dec) celebrates the sound of a generation with over 40 classic Motown hits, glitzy costumes and exceptional singers; it truly is a fantastic night out on the town.

Russell Brand (Tue 12 Dec) brings the comic relief in his brand new show Re: Birth as he deals with the madness of fatherhood and still trying to make sense of life having just created a life.
