Now in its eighth year, the Hyena Comedy Club, Harrogate’s longest running monthly funny-fest, continues to be quality Saturday night entertainment, showcasing the very best of the UK comedy circuit’s talent. For just £12, you can catch the next big thing in comedy, as four stand-out stand-ups take to the Harrogate Theatre stage. The Hyena’s keen eye for comedic talent means that many of the acts have gone on to become some of the biggest names in British comedy, including Alan Carr, Rhod Gilbert, Mark Watson, Sarah Millican, Russell Howard and Chris Addison. Whatever age or walk of life you’re from Steve has something for you, guaranteed to have you breathless with laughter, a master of the obvious and a Ninja of the not so obvious, you’ll be hit so hard by a punch line you won’t know where it’s come from. His most obvious asset is his ability to get any audience on his side, a well-crafted act and a will and confidence to survive outside of it, is what sets Steve aside from many of his piers. With most comedians you might get laughs with Steve you get a guarantee.

Mike’s timing is the envy of performers with ten times the experience and is proof that some people are just funny. His laconic style, demeanour and strength of material and on stage presence ensure the audience never leave disappointed.

One of Canada’s most outspoken and hilarious women has packed her bags and is now in the UK. Dana's comedic style is both refreshing and irreverent, drawing her material from her diverse lifestyle. This will be a lady not to be missed.

Dana began her comedy career at the tender age of 18 and quickly became a regular fixture in Canadian Comedy Clubs, universities and festivals. She was voted in the “Best Discoveries” by Toronto’s renowned Now Magazine in 2006 and has since been included in their "Best Of" issues three years in a row, easily making her one of Canada’s hottest emerging young comedians.

Tony has appeared at some of the best clubs in the country and has also supported WWE legend, Mick Foley as part of his UK tour, as well as pre-tour warm up shows for Kevin Bridges, Stewart Francis and Frankie Boyle at The Stand.
