Founded over 150 years ago by Sir Titus Salt at his mills, the Hammonds Saltaire Band has been one of the most successful brass bands to date. Performing as the Yorkshire Building Society Band for many years the Band has an impressive pedigree with an unbroken sequence of seventy three years under various names.

In recent years the band has contested throughout Europe, recorded numerous CDs and performed at some of the best concert venues in the world.

Under the musical direction of Morgan Griffiths the band present a programme of traditional brass band music, classical sounds and film themes which is guaranteed to delight brass lovers old and new alike.
