Ripon International Festival presents the Royal Philharmonic
Orchestra on its only visit to the North of England this year.
Schubert’s “Unfinished” is a magnificent work; the variety and
immediacy of the themes suffusing the two movements
are breathtaking: at once fragile, shimmering and deeply moving.  
Dvorak’s most popular symphony with its poignant negro spiritual
theme also reflects his longing for his Bohemian homeland.
