COMPERE: Danny Deegan
With the confidence and swagger that you might expect of a North-West comedian at the very top of his game, Danny Deegan is a comedian, writer and actor who has become a regular at most of the major comedy clubs in the UK since he began performing in 2003.

"Charming, witty and most importantly funny" Metro

Tonight’s line-up includes:

James Meehan
Have done 10s and 15s (and a couple of 20s) for many venues and promoters across the country including The Frog and Bucket. Won Beat the Frog in Manchester and Preston several times. Official Support for Michael J Dolan during the recording of his show 'Dress To Depress'

"Aloof, charming and compelling; certainly one of the most interesting new acts on the North West circuit at the moment" The Frog and Bucket.

Patrick Devine

Leeds-based comedian, Patrick Devine, is familiar face on the Yorkshire comedy circuit. He’s appeared at the West Yorkshire Playhouse and wooed crowds at festivals like Kendal Calling. He’s Girls Aloud number one fan (official 2010 fanchart) so criticise them at your own risk!

Kate Fox
Bradford born Kate Fox first tried stand up comedy in the late nineties. She then got distracted by life as a radio journalist and professional performance poet- although often found her old stand up skills came in useful. She's recently discovered that what she has to say in her late thirties is quite different to what she wanted to say in her early twenties- when Botox, Twitter and Lady Gaga were all just twinkles in the eye of Maggie Philbin.

James Christopher
James is an upbeat and affable act who has performed as an act and a compere on the Northern English circuit since 2005. His act incorporates one-liners, stories, a beermat, and an impression of John Bishop. In 2012, James performed ‘Bring Me The Head Of Russell Kane’, his third full solo show at the Edinburgh Festival on the award-winning PBH Free Fringe.

Peter Brush
Peter has been performing for a couple of years, based in Leeds but has gigged anywhere between Brighton up to Edinburgh. Main influences are Woody Allen, Steven Wright and Mitch Hedberg. He also once sold a joke about a monkey to the people at 118 118 for £20.

Abi Roberts
Abi Roberts and her big hair exploded onto the stand-up comedy scene in 2011, after a number of years as a musical and cabaret performer. She has been dubbed by critics as "Robin Williams with tits" (The Guardian). UK Comedy website Chortle described her as "a consummate entertainer". Abi is a one-off and a comedy whirlwind. She ranges from high-energy physical comedy, great stories and audience banter to unique musical impersonations and spot-on impressions.

Rachel Fairburn
Former City Life Comedian of the Year finalist, Funny Women finalist, Budweiser Legends of Laughter Finalist.
Winner of nothing.
This will probably be my epitaph.

"Oodles of charm....fresh and imaginitive" Chortle

Robin Parmiter
Robin Parmiter is a York-based comedian who explores his various psychological worries and subsequent journey into self-help.  He is also a medium-slow bowler and Yorkshire's only subscriber to Oprah Magazine.
