Emperor Benedict is very important and VERY famous. All he needs now is a fresh new wardrobe to really look the part and impress his citizens.
So he’s challenged designers from across the globe to fashion him a dazzling new outfit fit for a King…. Well Emperor….
All the Emperor wants is a new fresh new wardrobe. All his daughter Princess Aubergine and his wife the Empress want is to spend time with her dad.
Join the Emperor and his entourage for a right royal riot as he challenges the world’s fashion designers to make him a dazzling new outfit.
Proud Emperor Benedict is in need of a fresh new wardrobe for his Emperessional Competition and you’re all invited!
But when a mysterious French fashion designers appears on the scene, all is not what it seams…
This brand new play will have the whole family in stitches as the Emperor reaps what he has sewn. With original music and songs, and plenty of off-the-cuff jokes and opportunities to get involved in the action, this enchanting and fresh new take on Hans Christian Andersen’s famous fable teaches us all that it’s truly what’s on the inside that counts.
