Work Experience

Please note we are no longer accepting applications for Year 10 work experience placements for Spring/Summer 2009.

We offer a limited number of week-long work experience placements to students in years 10 and 11. Students take part in carousel placements which enables them to experience work in different departments to see how they all contribute to a show going onstage. The specific work experience programme we offer is dependent upon the dates you are available as we arrange placements in line with what is going on in the theatre at that time.  

In your application please include the following:  

- Name
- Age
- School
- Dates of placement
- A little bit about yourself, your interests and hobbies
- Why you would like a placement at Harrogate Theatre  

Please also include your C.V. if you have one.  

We accept applications throughout the year. For summer term placements we hold informal interviews with a shortlist in January.  

For older/mature students we may be able to offer specialised placements. Please get in touch with your requirements.  

Please note that placements are unpaid and we are unable to contribute to travel costs.
