Access

It is important to us that we are as accessible as possible to everyone. We offer a range of Captioned, Relaxed, Audio Described and British Sign Language Interpreted Performances for selected productions. If you would like to find out more about what these definitions mean and what will be provided, please click on the boxes at the bottom of the page.

On the Piste:

  • Saturday 31 August @ 2:30pm - Audio Described

Deathtrap:

  • Saturday 7 September @ 2:30pm - Captioned

The 39 Steps:

  • Saturday 14 September @ 2:30pm - BSL interpreted

We've Got Each Other:

  • Wednesday 9 October @ 7:30pm - Audio Described and Captioned

Snow White:

  • Friday 13 December @ 7pm - Audio Described and BSL Interpreted
  • Saturday 14 December @ 12noon - Captioned
  • Thursday 19 December @ 6:30pm - Relaxed Performance
  • Friday 3 January @ 7pm - Captioned
  • Saturday 4 January @ 12noon - Audio Described 
  • Sunday 5 January @ 12noon - BSL Interpreted 
  • Thursday 16 January @ 10am - Relaxed Performance

 

For all performances there is an infra-red induction loop fitted in the Harrogate Theatre auditorium, compatible with a ‘T’ switch on your hearing aid. Neck loop receivers are available to borrow during any show. These can be used with or without a hearing aid. If you wish to use a Neck Loop Receiver please inform a member of staff. If your hearing maybe isn’t what it once was – have a gander at our Captioned Performances.
