Carlton Main Frickley Colliery Band
Music includes: Fantasia on British Sea Songs, Jerusalem, In Christ Alone, Elsa’s Procession to the Cathedral, Keep Smiling Through, Solos, etc.
Long-term Festival favourites, the band has represented England at the World Championships, became French Open Champions in 2018 and achieved 2nd place at the world’s leading brass band contest, Brass in Concert, in 2019. These successes have led to the band being firmly established as one of the top ten brass bands in the world.
