Harrogate Youth Theatre Presents a Double Bill: Imaginarium and Against the Clock

Join us for a double bill like no other, featuring two original plays devised by Harrogate Youth Theatre’s 15+ groups, exploring the vibrant and complex inner worlds of teenagers. 

Imaginarium

Step inside The Imaginarium – the magical place within our minds where imagination is built and stored. This play delves into the many ways imagination shapes our lives: directing our daydreams, feeding our fears and nurturing our nostalgia. Through heightened visuals and deconstructed storytelling, the inner workings of imagination are brought vividly to life on stage, inviting the audience to witness the mind’s creative processes in action. 

Against the Clock

A compelling exploration of the clash between adult expectations and teenage realities. Devising directly from personal experience, this group creatively reveal a sense of pressure and time running out to secure their futures. Join us to explore the often-misunderstood landscape of adolescent thought and emotion, challenging stereotypes and opening new perspectives. 

Together, these original plays turn the inside of our minds out on stage, celebrating the rich, dynamic world of youth creativity and thought.
