The Performance Ensemble make rich and moving shows woven from real-life stories, and told through bold performance, beautiful dance, original music and song.

This new production is co-created by TPE’s experienced performers with older people from the Harrogate area.

Prepare to be drawn into a world of seemingly ordinary stories that together make a vivid tapestry of triumphs, thwarted dreams, personal journeys, love and loss.

You’ll laugh, cry, be surprised and possibly shocked, by this unique insight into older people’s lives.

The Performance Ensemble is the first national collective of older artists working together to make art with the experience of age. Under the leadership of Artistic Director Alan Lyddiard the company creates meaning, beauty and joy out of the seemingly ordinary.
