Common Family Theatre FAQs

Under 18 months at the time of the performance are usually considered babes in arms. As long as they stay on the body, they will not require a ticket. *Ages for Babe In Arms may vary with event.
Due to changing Fire regulations Babe In Arms are not allowed in the Boxes at Harrogate Theatre.
We do not have room for car seats or pushchairs in the auditorium.
Please note we do have booster seats in the Stalls at Harrogate Theatre for our more diminutive patrons! Available on a first come/first served basis.
Breastfeeding is welcomed in all areas, wherever is most comfortable for you and your baby.

The running time (including any interval) is posted on the event page.
If there is not one there, then we do not have it yet.
It will be posted just inside the doors on the night at Harrogate Theatre, Royal Hall, and Harrogate Convention Centre.

Please write out the dedication and pass to the Box Office on the way into your show. Room permitting it will be included in the second half.
We cannot accept dedications before the show.

Unlike cinemas we do not have a rating system. However, due to the wishes of the act and our own building policy we do post age restrictions.
No under 14’s will be allowed without a parent or suitable adult having a ticket and staying for the show.
If the content requires over 18’s only this must be adhered to.
Harrogate Theatre will never be able to act as in loco parentis with the exception pf age related courses/classes.

We do have waiting lists and if you bought your tickets from us, we could offer yours to the next customers on the list. We charge £2 a ticket for this service.
