Harrogate Youth Singing

Singing a variety of musical theatre and contemporary pop, Harrogate Youth Singing (HYS) members have a great time meeting new friends and raising the roof with their harmonies. HYS members sing as a group, with solos if you're feeling confident, and we also try out different performance ideas to bring each song to life. Harrogate Youth Singing is a fab way to build your skills in a friendly group and then show them off.

Classes take place in Harrogate Theatre’s dedicated education and outreach space, Hive, our dedicated education space above Leeds Building Society on Oxford Street. Please note that access around Hive is by stairs and there is not a lift.

Classes meet on Thursdays 5pm – 6pm for 7 – 11 years and 5pm - 6pm for 12 – 18 years. Terms last 10 weeks and cost just £70 (concessions are available).

There’s no audition so to register your interest for this or any of our Hive workshops, download the expression of interest form here.

For more information please email hyt@harrogatetheatre.co.uk or call the Education Officer on 01423 502710 ext 129.

If you’re over 18 why not join Harrogate Theatre Choir? The choir is friendly, inclusive group and has a wide range of social as well as singing events. The choir is making excellent progress in harmony singing via a variety of popular songs, including Hallelujah, and Beatles medleys. New members are always welcome – especially good soprano voices. Though continuing to build strong links with Harrogate Theatre, the choir is also keen to find new audiences to entertain.
