Little Stages Festival 2026 – Book Now!
We are thrilled to announce the return of our much-loved Little Stages Festival, a joyful celebration of live performance for children and families.
Bringing together some of the UK’s best family-friendly theatre, dance, magic and storytelling, Little Stages offers young audiences the chance to experience the excitement and wonder of theatre in an engaging and welcoming way.
This year’s festival bursts into life with a spectacular line-up of family favourites, laughter and magical moments for all ages. The fun begins with The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show (Tue 17 – Wed 18 Feb), a vibrant stage adaptation of Eric Carle’s much-loved classic, specially created to enchant early years audiences. Next up, The Sooty Show (Sun 15 Mar) brings timeless slapstick, mischievous mayhem and plenty of chances to join in, guaranteeing giggles for children and grown-ups alike.
Families can then enjoy So Unfair (Sat 04 Apr), a heart-warming, funny and imaginative show exploring friendship, fairness and feelings, before A Squash and a Squeeze (Fri 10 – Sun 12 Apr) joyfully brings Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s beloved tale to the stage with delightful puppetry, music and playful storytelling.
Prepare to be amazed by The Magic of Science – High Voltage (Sun 26 Apr), an electrifying interactive show packed with jaw-dropping experiments, comedy and learning, followed by Northern Ballet’s Little Red Riding Hood (Wed 06 May), a beautifully crafted production that introduces young audiences to the magic of ballet and classical storytelling.
Wonder and excitement continue with West End Magic (Sat 06 Jun), London’s longest-running magic show, bringing astonishing illusions and surprises straight from the West End to Harrogate. The magic keeps flowing with The Tiger Who Came to Tea (Fri 19 – Sat 20 Jun), a charming and musical stage adaptation of Judith Kerr’s classic story, filled with warmth, humour and unforgettable moments.
The festival comes to a joyful close with My First Concert, a magical live musical adventure where young children and their grown-ups can sing, dance, laugh and cheer together. A truly unforgettable celebration of theatre for the whole family!
