What's On Guide Autumn/Winter 2018 is out!

Our brand new What’s On guide lands today! We mail out 18,000 so some of you should receive one through the post. However, due to prohibitive costs of mailing and postage sadly we can’t send one direct to everyone, so do pop in and grab one from Oxford Street if you can.

This season is packed! We’re bringing a total of 84 different shows to Harrogate between September and February, ranging from big players at Harrogate Convention Centre to new and emerging artists in our Studio space and community companies in the main house and Studio.

Ticket prices range from just £12 right up to a £99 VIP ticket to see the ever-popular Caro Emerald in October. We also have a season ticket offer offering 20% off full ticket prices for selected shows.

As part of our programme this autumn, we’ve got an exciting season of shows from HT Rep – new for 2018 – with three shows over three weeks all from one company. With multi-buy discounts and a special Patron Package available, there are a number of ways to get along and see all three.

It’s a big one for drama lovers this Sept & October as we move straight from HT Rep into Othello from English Touring Theatre and then This Might Hurt by John Godber from Reform Theatre Company.

In October it’s the 10th annual Harrogate Comedy Festival with some of the best funny people around joining us at Harrogate Theatre and the Royal Hall across 18 days.

Just a few short weeks post-comedy festival, and it’s opening night of this year’s panto, Jack and the Beanstalk, on Friday 30th November. Winter may seem far away right now but more than a third of all available seats are already sold so don’t leave it too long!

The programme of culture and entertainment from Harrogate Theatre takes place within the building itself, but also our programming team proudly bring incredible artists and shows to Harrogate’s Royal Hall and Harrogate Convention Centre. This autumn we’re bringing operas Carmen and La Traviata plus ballets Swan Lake and Giselle to the Royal Hall, plus An Evening with Michael Palin, Kate Rusby and The Bootleg Beatles.

At Harrogate Convention Centre, as well as Caro Emerald, our awesome team has also managed to bag James Martin, Dave Gorman, Fastlove – A Tribute to George Michael, and The Australian Pink Floyd, all taking place between October & December! What a treat for Harrogate.

There are loads more shows so please do have a browse or pick up a What’s On guide when you see one. They are available at Harrogate Theatre from today and we’ll be distributing them across the region over the coming weeks.
