Its the last show of this current season for the Hyena Lounge Comedy Club before it takes a summer break and it bows out by bringing yet another cracking line up of the best in stand-up comedy that there is to Harrogate Theatre.

Opening the show is STEVE HARRIS, another act who has won numerous awards for his comedy. His meteoric rise began when, after less than three months of performing he won the prestigious North-West Comedian of the Year Award following in the footsteps of Peter Kay and Johnny Vegas. The following year he was a finalist of the BBC Comedy Awards and Channel 4s So you think youre funny and went on to headline all of the top comedy clubs in the UK.
The rising star of Irish comedy, JOHN LYNN takes the middle slot with his easy-going charm and natural stage presence. With a laid-back style and delivery not too dissimilar to the late Dave Allen, he was invited to join PJ Gallagher as a special guest on his world tour and followed this with tour supports to both Tommy Tiernan and Tom Stade before accepting an invitation to perform at the prestigious Montreal Just for Laughs Comedy Festival. He has subsequently toured around South Africa, America, Europe and the Middle East.
Hosting the show is JASON COOK, comedian who created, wrote, and appeared in Hebburn, a sitcom based in his hometown which was first broadcast on BBC 2 in 2012 with a second series and Christmas special the year after. He went on to write and create Murder On The Blackpool Express for Dave TV starring Johnny Vegas, Sian Gibson and a whole ensemble of British acting greats which had become the most watched programme in the history of the channel. A sort-of-sequel, Death On The Tyne begins filming in July for broadcast at Christmas.
