explosion in Barnsley 1866- the worst coal-mining disaster in Britain,
which killed 361 miners and rescuers. Visually compelling and atmospheric,
with virtual reality footage, the film builds to an inspirational climax.
Narrative and folk song completes the tale of the community spirit which
survives to this day.
