Harrogate Theatre

An evening of contemporary dance theatre presented by Untold Dance Theatre .

An intergenerational cast of seven women share stories of finding confidence through comedic and thought provoking dance theatre.

'We want to share our stories of love, loss, loathing and laughter!'

Women-Wise reveals what it is like to experience a lack of confidence and self esteem as a woman and how, perhaps, we can find strength in each other. This performance has been informed by real life stories shared in open discussions and workshops with Bristol womens groups across the city.

Untold Dance Theatre is run by Bristol based choreographer, Vicki Hearne. The company consists of seven professional female dancers with an age range of 22 to 72. Untold’s ethos is to create engaging and relatable dance theatre that tells emotive, authentic and humorous stories,

'Unbelievably poignant, stimulating and outstandingly conveyed. Felt entirely immersed. Thank you so much.' Audience member, 2018

Performers: Vicki Hearne, Wina Lewis, Ania Varez, Alexandra Pickford, Polly Franks, Kay Oliver, Julia Thorneycroft & Cam Crook

Supported by Arts Council England, Bath Spa University, Dance in Devon, Pavilion Dance South West, Trinity Bristol, Theatre Bristol
