Theatre Tours

Take a tour of Harrogate Theatre and find out about the workings of a professional theatre. Tours can be arranged for groups of any age. Discover what goes on behind the scenes, and how each department contributes to the performance on stage. Find out about the history of the building, some of the famous names who have appeared here, everyday sayings that have their roots in theatre and superstitions that have grown up around the stage.

Tours last approximately one hour and cost £3 per person for School groups and Rainbows / Scouts etc. For all other groups we charge £5 per person.  Please note: there are no tours between July and August.

Please note that access around the theatre is via stairs. We do not have a lift.

Access to some areas of the theatre may be restricted at times.
