Our Venues

Harrogate (White Rose) Theatre Trust Ltd is an Arts Charity regitered in the UK.  We put on Drama, Comedy, Dance and Family shows in Harrogate across multiple venues.  We also sell tickets for events run by other companies.  We operate two venues, Harrogate Theatre and Harrogate Studio Theatre.  We regularly put on events at the Royal Hall and Harrogate Convention Centre, both venues are owned and run by Harrogate Borough Council.

Harrogate Theatre comprises of two auditoriums and two fully licensed bars (Circle and Stalls Bar) which are all avalible to hire. Full technical support is included in the hire price to ensure that your event or conference goes smoothly. The Royal Hall and Harrogate Convention Centre are also available for hire. The Circle Bar at Harrogate Theatre is open Wednesday - Saturday from 10am - 4pm for coffees, cakes, local beers and craft gins.

Built in 1900 Harrogate Theatre is a typical example of a late Victorian proscenium arch venue built over five floors.
The Studio Theatre is an intimate 60-seat performance space situated on the third floor at the top of Harrogate Theatre. The Studio is a versatile space and offers a programme of diverse, experimental and often brand new work.
HIVE is located next door to the theatre and is a space dedicated to Harrogate Theatre’s education and outreach initiatives.
The Royal Hall is a Grade II* listed Edwardian performance hall and theatre located just on the outskirts of Harrogate Town Centre.
Harrogate Convention Centre is a spectacular world class conference venue with an impressive 2000-seater auditorium geared up for some of the best British and international acts.
