Harrogate Theatre is thrilled to announce that acclaimed comedian, writer, and actor Maisie Adam will be the voice of The Magic Harp in this year’s festive pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk.

York Theatre Royal, Harrogate Theatre and Cast are seeking to commission a new 45-minute play specifically for youth theatre groups aged 11–14, in response to the lack of existing repertoire for this age group.

Harrogate Theatre is thrilled to announce that award-winning actor, comedian, and musician Matt Berry will be the voice of Giant Blunderbore’ in this year’s pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk.

Chris Walker and John Burton star in Middle Ground Theatre Company’s acclaimed production of Charles Dicken’s ghostly masterpiece The Signalman, coming to Harrogate Theatre this September. Chris is probably best known for his fifteen years playing Rob Hollins in Doctors, as well as regular roles in Merseybeat, Playing the Field, The Bill and Coronation Street. John is best known for his ongoing portrayal of Sergeant Goodfellow in the hugely successful worldwide series Father Brown, along with regular character of Alan Gordon in Brookside.

The Harrogate Theatre Pantomime Horse Race will be a fun and hilarious fundraising event where teams dressed in two-person pantomime animal costumes will gallop for glory at Ripon Racecourse, all to support Harrogate Theatre’s 125th anniversary fundraising campaign. We’re thrilled to be bringing this wonderful event to life on Monday 4th August and we can’t wait to see businesses, individuals and theatre supporters get involved.
